Recently I stopped receiving hours at my job—It’s not that they “fired” me per se… They just refuse to give me any hours so I can come in and work! Because I have to look forward to paying for college next semester on top of attempting to save up for things like laptops and maybe, just once in a while, something for myself that I don’t NEED (@.@) this puts me in sort of a tight spot!
That being said, I need a way to make money. Since all my efforts to find a new job have failed thusfar and all I’m really good at is making art… I’ve decided to officially open myself up for art commissions!
About My Work:All of my art is drawn and colored with traditional media. I prefer the Prismacolor brand, so the majority of my art is colored with a mixture of Premier Prismacolor Markers and Prismacolor Colored Pencils, along with being inked in water and smear-resistant Prismacolor Art Pens.
I absolutely love to mix media; a typical art piece of mine will be drawn in pencil, inked twice (once for basic lines and once after erasing for depth and cleaning), colored and shaded with markers, highlighted and given further depth with colored pencils, and finally given bright highlights and touchups with white acrylic paint.
About Commissioning Me:At the moment, there is absolutely NOTHING I won’t draw! That is subject to change if I do find something that makes me uncomfortable, but at the moment I’m pretty open minded, so I’ll take whatever you want to give me.
The drawing process can take up to three weeks depending on what’s going on in my life, however, typically you should be able to count on a commission being finished within two weeks. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, I will be sure to let you know and give you regular progress updates.
While I’m drawing, I want to make sure you are pleased with what you are getting! Because of this, I’ll send you previews for critique at various stages of the drawing; one-two previews during the sketching stage, once after inking, and once after the base marker colors have been laid down. After that it will be extremely hard for me to change anything about the drawing, so I will only send you previews when/if you request them.
Finally, because my art is strictly traditional, I am able to ship you the final piece! Shipping on the pieces is completely free of charge.
Prices:$25 ~ Fully Colored Piece ~ These drawings are completely inked and colored with markers, pencils, and acrylics if necessary. They may include up to two characters—if you wish to commission more, please contact me to discuss the piece and prices.
$20 ~ Flat Colored Piece ~ These drawings will be inked and colored only with flat marker colors. There will be no shading. These pieces may include up to three characters.
$13 ~ Inked Piece ~ These drawings are inked and cleaned up, but not colored at all.
$5 ~ Full Page Sketch ~ These drawings are just sketches and are not inked at all, they will be cleaned up, however.
Other Prices:$15 ~ Full Size Paper Child ~ Paper Children are drawings of characters that are meant to interact with their environment in some way. For example, a drawing of a wolf character being held by the scruff of it’s neck by some invisible force. The drawings are set up so that a human can hold the paper child in the right way and have it look like the “child” is real. A full size paper child of mine will be fully colored with all of my typical media and will be around 11 inches tall. I will also laminate it before sending.

$7 ~ Googly Eyes Chibis ~ These are small (2-3 inches), laminated chibi drawings with 3D googly eyes.

Because I am just opening for commissions and a lot of you aren’t superbly familiar with my art, I’m running a special deal at the moment.
All sketches are $1.50 but will not be mailed to you… Should you decide to follow up that sketch request with a full color commission, however, I will mail you both the sketch and full color piece. Beyond that, I will lower the price of your full color commission to $17 (that’s an $8 discount).
